We would like to thank the organisation of the circuit for this gesture and for their help.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/70_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-503\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/70_telemetry-300x140.jpg\" alt=\"70_telemetry\" width=\"476\" height=\"222\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We decided to drive non-stop, using a constant current, in order to analyse how other aspects of the prototype (our electric Twingo), such as range, temperatures, rpms, etc., were affected.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the number of curves in the circuit, we were not able to maintain a stable current, but we were able to monitor it and this was the result.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/71_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-504\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/71_telemetry-300x180.jpg\" alt=\"71_telemetry\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe could see an average of 120 amps coming out of the battery most of the time, as well as about 210 amps from the controller.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/72_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-505\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/72_telemetry-300x176.jpg\" alt=\"72_telemetry\" width=\"300\" height=\"176\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAll this time we consumed about 3.3Kw, which is an impressive 46% of the total capacity.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/73_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-506\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/73_telemetry-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"73_telemetry\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But how did the test affect the rest of the components?  Well, we could notice that the controller was getting a bit hot, which led us to think about an additional cooling system. We saw a peak of 72\u00b0C, which is a bit borderline for a healthy temperature, so we are working on a system that will dissipate the radiator temperature faster.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/74_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-507\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/74_telemetry-300x189.jpg\" alt=\"74_telemetry\" width=\"300\" height=\"189\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe engine also got a bit warm, but within a healthy temperature, between 40\u00baC and 50\u00baC, so no problems so far.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/75_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-501\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/75_telemetry-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"75_telemetry\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We were also trying to keep the engine at a steady 2500rpm, which is the manufacturer's recommended speed for maximum torque. Having driven with the most efficient rpm ratio is also good news. So, the telemetry went well at the Cartagena circuit.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/76_telemetry.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-502\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elektrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/76_telemetry-300x185.jpg\" alt=\"76_telemetry\" width=\"300\" height=\"185\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And so, here you have a short video summary of the rehearsals.
